This position results from the company experiencing rapid growth in our Natural Color Conversion division and are looking for a skilled Analytical Chemist to join our scientific staff.
In this customer-focused role, you will apply your strong knowledge of wet chemistry techniques and instrumentation to conduct analytical testing, develop new methods, and interpret results. This position is essential to ensuring the high quality of our products.
Work Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

What You’ll Do:
- Independently manage the analysis of samples and data, ensuring timely delivery of accurate results.
- Operate and maintain key laboratory instrumentation including ICP, HPLC, and GC/MS, following GLP and GMP procedures. Collaborate with service engineers on routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Evaluate and implement new in-house test methods, and routinely review current methods to recommend improvements.
- Participate in formal Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions.
- Clearly communicate lab data and results, both verbally and in writing, to other departments.
- Work effectively within interdepartmental teams and with affiliate sites to deliver high-quality products and service to customers.
What You’ll Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field with a strong emphasis on Analytical Chemistry.
- Experience working in a high-throughput quality control laboratory.
- Strong background in analytical instrumentation and analysis, specifically with ICP, HPLC, and GC/MS.
- Prior experience in a third-party testing lab is strongly preferred.
- Experience in preparing reports, managing lab projects, and collaborating within small to mid-sized teams.
