What They Offer

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $230,000 USD, based on factors such as education, experience, and market conditions, and it is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay. Key Responsibilities
In this role, they require the candidate to:

  • Develop innovative flavor solutions—including creation, matching, and concept development—that meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Application, Procurement, and Manufacturing to deliver successful customer solutions and technical support.
  • Contribute to their Flavorist Training Program by teaching modules, with the potential to lead the program regionally or globally.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal and external customers, which includes participating in customer visits and travel to support global business needs.
  • Participate in sensory evaluation panels, SFC meetings, and other technical initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership potential, with the opportunity to manage a Flavor Creation team.

What They Are Looking For

  • A High School Diploma or GED (a Bachelor’s degree in science is preferred but not required).
  • Successful completion of the SFC (or internal equivalent) certification exam, along with 20+ years of experience as a certified flavorist.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, coupled with a passion for mentoring the next generation of Flavorists and influencing global training initiatives.
