Which New Flavors Will Coca-Cola Launch in 2027?
Cherry Lime arrives in February and Strawberry Float follows in the summer, with new Powerade, Topo Chico, Mr. Pibb, vitaminwater and Core Power flavors filling out the year.
Coca-Cola has a busy 2027 planned. Two new versions of the flagship soda lead the lineup: Coca-Cola Cherry Lime in February and Coca-Cola Strawberry Float in the summer, both in regular and Zero Sugar. Elsewhere in the portfolio, Powerade gets Watermelon and Lemon Lime Zero Sugar, Topo Chico adds Pineapple Coconut, Mr. Pibb gets a blackberry and black currant limited edition, and Fairlife's Core Power adds Banana and Strawberry protein shakes. Fruit, soda-fountain nostalgia, zero sugar and functional drinks all feature heavily.
From rumor to roadmap
Some of these drinks had already surfaced through industry leaks and soda-fan speculation. Coca-Cola has now made them official.
Cherry Lime and Strawberry Float are the headline items for Coke drinkers, but the plans reach well past the flagship cola, into Powerade, Topo Chico, Mr. Pibb, vitaminwater and Core Power. Zero-sugar options, hydration and protein come up again and again across the list.
The company will preview the products at the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) show in Las Vegas, October 7–9, 2026. Shakir Moin, Coca-Cola's president of marketing for North America, said shifting consumer preferences are behind the strategy. Shoppers want new flavors, he said, but they also want drinks suited to different occasions and nutritional needs.
Coca-Cola Cherry Lime: February 2027
Cherry Lime is the first Coca-Cola-branded release of the year, due in February 2027.
It starts with Cherry Coke and adds lime for a sharper citrus edge. According to news reports, it will come in both a regular sugar version and Zero Sugar.
Soda watchers saw this one coming. In September, Sporked reported that an industry database appeared to list Coca-Cola Cherry Lime for retail in 2027, in both regular and Zero Sugar. That was unconfirmed at the time. Coca-Cola's October announcement backs up the main points, though it leaves out some of the rumored details, including package formats and a specific mid-February date.
Strawberry Float: summer 2027
Strawberry Float, due in summer 2027, is the more unusual of the two.
It pairs Coca-Cola with strawberry and creamy vanilla, aiming for the feel of an old-fashioned ice cream float without the ice cream. Reports say it will also be sold in regular and Zero Sugar.
Coca-Cola has been working through nostalgic dessert flavors for a few years now. Orange Cream (orange and vanilla) launched in 2025, followed by Cherry Float (cherry and vanilla) in 2026. Strawberry Float is the next step in that run.
The approach is fairly deliberate. Cherry, lime, strawberry and vanilla are all familiar flavors. Coca-Cola is recombining them so the drinks feel new without feeling strange.
Powerade, Topo Chico and Mr. Pibb
Other Coca-Cola brands are getting new flavors too.
Powerade adds Watermelon Zero Sugar and Lemon Lime Zero Sugar in January 2027, expanding its zero-sugar range.
Topo Chico Sabores Pineapple Coconut follows in February 2027, joining the brand's fruit-flavored sparkling waters. (A separate product, Topo Chico Colección, a premium carbonated filtered water, launches this October and is not part of the 2027 lineup.)
In spring 2027, a limited-time Mr. Pibb Black-Current arrives. The spelling is the brand's own, and the drink combines blackberry and black currant with 54 milligrams of caffeine.
Core Power and vitaminwater
Several of the 2027 launches are not sodas at all.
Fairlife's Core Power adds Banana in January, in 26-gram and 42-gram protein versions. Coca-Cola says it is the line's first new flavor in nearly ten years. Strawberry is also joining the 26-gram range.
vitaminwater zero sugar formula 100 arrives in March 2027 in grape. It provides 100% of the daily value of several vitamins, including C, E and a range of B vitamins.
Alongside the new soda flavors, Coca-Cola is clearly investing in drinks people buy for hydration, protein and other functional benefits.
What about the prebiotic drinks?
Coca-Cola is also testing Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Sprite Zero Sugar and Fresca with six grams of prebiotic fiber.
Some coverage has grouped these with the 2027 launches, but the timing is different. Coca-Cola says the regional test starts in late October 2026 in parts of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. For now it is a market test that could shape future products, not a confirmed national launch for 2027.
The bigger picture
For most soda drinkers, Cherry Lime and Strawberry Float will be the big news. Beyond them, watermelon, lemon-lime, pineapple coconut, blackberry, black currant, banana, strawberry and grape spread the push across sports drinks, sparkling water, protein shakes and vitamin drinks.
Most of the lineup pairs familiar flavors in new combinations, often with a Zero Sugar version or a functional angle. Coca-Cola has also said more launches are coming through 2027, so this list is unlikely to be complete.
Cherry Lime in February and Strawberry Float in the summer are the two to watch. Both suggest Coca-Cola thinks there is still plenty of room to play with the classic Coke formula.
